2. What we collect, and why
This website is an online store for picture hanging rails, Perlon cords, and hooks. We collect only what is needed to answer enquiries, fulfil orders, and (if you accept) measure site use.
- Orders: name, email, phone, shipping address, and optional billing / GST details so we can confirm, ship, and invoice your order.
- Contact form: name, email, optional phone, and the message you send, so we can reply.
- Order tracking: the order number and contact details you enter, so we can show status.
- Consent record: your Accept or Reject choice for analytics, stored in this browser.
We do not ask for government ID, payment card numbers, or precise location on our forms. Card and UPI details are entered on Razorpay’s checkout, not on our pages. Please do not send those in the contact message field.
Our hosting provider may automatically receive technical data such as IP address, browser type, and requested URL as part of delivering the page. We do not use that data to build advertising profiles, and we do not run advertising or social-media pixels on this site. If you accept analytics on the cookie banner, Google Analytics also receives page-view data (URL, referrer, browser, device, and approximate location) so we can see which catalogue and checkout pages are used. Rejecting analytics prevents that script from loading. See the Cookie Policy.
3. Lawful basis
Order data is processed to perform the contract you place (sale, shipping, tax invoice, and after-sales exchange). Contact-form data is processed so we can reply to your request. Analytics runs only if you accept it on the cookie banner. You can reject it then, or change the choice later from Cookie preferences in the footer.
We may retain a limited record where Indian law requires it, including tax, GST, and consumer-dispute records.
4. Who receives the data
We do not sell personal data. We share order and enquiry details only with:
- Staff of Window Techs India Private Limited who handle sales, dispatch, and support.
- ATTAINMACH 33 LLP, which designs and manages this website.
- Vercel Inc., which hosts the website. Their servers may be outside India.
- Our database host, used to store orders and product records.
- Razorpay, which processes online payments. Card and UPI data is handled by Razorpay under its own terms.
- Shiprocket and the assigned courier, which receive name, phone, and address to deliver the order.
- Our email provider, which sends order confirmations and support messages.
- Google LLC, only if you accept analytics, for Google Analytics measurement. Their servers may be outside India.
5. Where data is processed
We are based in India. Hosting, payments, shipping software, and analytics may involve processing outside India. We use those processors only to run the store, take payment, deliver goods, and (if accepted) measure the site.
6. How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as needed to fulfil the sale, handle exchanges, and meet tax and accounting duties, then deleted or archived as those duties allow. Contact emails are kept for a reasonable follow-up period, then removed from active mailboxes unless a contract, dispute, or legal obligation requires a longer hold.
7. Your rights
Subject to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of personal data we hold, and you may withdraw analytics consent. Write to info@windowtechs.in with the email address used on the order or enquiry. We will respond within the time the Act requires.
You may also complain to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with our response.
8. Grievance Officer
Shubhangi Khandelwal is the Director for personal-data grievances under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and for consumer grievances related to this website.

9. Children
This website is for adult buyers of hardware. It is not directed at children. Do not submit a child’s personal data through the forms.
